The State Diagram

A state diagram is a communication tool to allow discussion between designers, customers and programmers. The state diagram are also used to help the technicians to find faults when the system is operational. We going to make one for the first barrier.

Step 1: States are generally positions or continuous activity. We begin with imagining a film of the system and chopping it into small blocks.

Step 2: We now add actions, what the system must do in each state

Step 3: We now add transitions. These are the conditions to end this state and move to the next.
