The Hall sensors are used to detect the cars in the Train Crossing and Car park. The PLCtrainingKIT uses 10 Hall sensors to detect the different cars.
How to use the Hall sensors
When the car drives over the Hall sensor the Hall sensors will give a ON signal to the PLC.
The Hall sensors don't detect the car but the magnet underneath the car.
If the magnet is not above the hall sensor the sensor will give a OFF signal.
How do Hall sensors work?
The Hall sensors detect the magnetic fields. When the magnet comes close to the Hall-sensor the PLC input signal will go ON.
